Fasadus UAB, in collaboration with Balticguppen AB, started implementing the project of outstanding Swedish architects in the city of Umea, Sweden. For this largest among the ongoing projects thus far, Fasadus UAB offered a unique solution for covering and uncovering the building: the company’s designers designed the exterior blinds covering the entire building façade with modern KNX technology (KNX is the technology that allows interconnecting all building functions, including blinds, to a single backbone network, creating a unified control system of the building). A reliable Schueco profile system ensuring the high German quality was selected for the aluminum structures. The high-quality appearance and excellent thermal properties of the building will be ensured with triple glazing insulation units with sun control. The building installation work is scheduled for February 2018. Together with the architects from Winghards, we are pleased that the building has the highest Gold class rating
